In 2015, I quit my job to travel for six months. Long story short, I discovered freediving, and skipped my flight home so that I could stay in Honduras and keep diving. Since then, I’ve lived in three countries, become an instructor, safety dived at the World Championships, and pulled myself down and back up a loooong line to set two national records in Free Immersion at my first competition.
Now I’m splitting my time between work and training in an effort to keep going with this ridiculous, amazing sport. It’s a tricky lifestyle, but nothing beats getting to drink coffee next to the sea and to hold my breath underwater every day.
